here is my first attempt at a national lottery predictor ( aka a random number generator ). it was written for our works syndicate while i was supposed to be working hence no fancy interface, if that's your thing please feel free to stick one on but please send me a copy.
this program does just about all you could want from a lottery program, ie generates upto 256 lines, checks for duplicate numbers, gives you the odds of hitting the jackpot and even checks the numbers for you. it must be the simplest thing to use ever.
1. enter the number of lottery lines you want
2. click on the 'it could be us' button and the lines will be generated. each line is then sorted numerically to make marking of tickets easier.
3. on the draw night type in the number into the 'actual numbers' box separated by spaces (eg 13 1 44 23 7 39 ). ** do not type the bonus number **
4. click on the 'is this our week' button and the total correct for each line will be displayed next to that line.
5. if you have any winning lines the line numbers will be displayed in the boxes marked 3s, 4s, 5s and 6s. ** if you have any 5s then check the bonus number yourself ** it shouldn't happen enough times for this to be an inconvenience.
6. go down the shop and collect your winnings.
well that's about it, please remember that this is not free software but lotteryware either send me a pound before playing or 1% of your winnings after. ( i know there is absolutely no chance of either of these, but we live in hope ). please feel free to distribute this in what ever format you feel like.
